Two trendy eateries in our area are expanding and getting new locations. From your favorite coffee to warm waffle fries, the new Starbucks and Chick-fil-A locations are coming soon to Opelika and Auburn.
About Starbucks on Gateway Drive in Opelika
You have probably noticed all the work next to the QuikTrip gas station on Gateway Drive in Opelika. But until recently there was no sign of what the building would be. That has changed! At the end of last month, the Starbucks logo was officially hung on the front of the building.
This convenient location will allow quick access to breakfast items, coffee, tea and more for residents of Opelika and the surrounding areas. The new location hopes to alleviate some of the demand at the Tiger Town Starbucks.
About Chick-fil-A on East University Drive in Auburn
As one of the most popular fast-food restaurants in the South, Chick-fil-A has multiple locations in Auburn and Opelika. A new location on East University Drive in Auburn is working to make chicken, salads, chicken sandwiches, waffle fries, sweet tea and more available to those residents living near the east side of town.
Located just outside the Auburn Mall, the new Chick-fil-A will help with the traffic from the drive-thru and pick-up order lines in the mall parking lot from the Chick-fil-A inside the mall. However, this location does differ from the rest. Designed for fast service, it is drive-thru and walk-up window only!
And don’t fret—you can still use the Chick-fil-A mobile app to order ahead.
Location
You can find these new Starbucks and Chick-fil-A locations just outside the most popular shopping centers in town. Head to Gateway Drive in Opelika past Tiger Town for the new Starbucks. Then drive to East University Drive in Auburn to find the new Chick-fil-A.

Things are always expanding and growing in a college town, so it’s no surprise that we needed new Starbucks and Chick-fil-A locations in the area. And this growth makes life all the easier for residents!
