Game On, August 1

  • What: The Opelika Police Department will have its free annual Game On event. Everyone from age five to 18 is invited! Prepare to shoot hoops with local sports heroes, law enforcement and your peers. The idea is to promote understanding and friendship between young people, law enforcement and the community while having fun! Register here.

Auburn Arts 2024 Summer Show: Black and White + One Color, August 1-24

  • What: Be inspired by the art featured in the summer show at the Art Gallery in the Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center. The exhibition showcases artwork created in black and white with one color addition of the artist’s choice.

O Grows Tuesday Farmers Market, August 6-27

National Night Out 2024, August 6

  • What: Join Auburn Public Safety as they host this free community-wide for families, residents and others on the 41st Annual National Night Out. The event promotes crime and drug prevention and awareness while building community bonds. Enjoy food, free community resources, Auburn Police K9 demonstrations and Auburn Fire Department fire education. Photo opportunities with Sparky the Fire Dog and McGruff the Crime Dog, face painting, music, giveaways and more!

Sundilla Presents The Close In Concert, August 23

Football, Fans and Feathers, August 30

  • What: Kick off fall fun with one of Auburn’s most popular traditions: Auburn University Raptor Center’s Football, Fans and Feathers. It’s the first Raptor show of the 2024 football season! Get a bird’s eye view of birds of prey as they fly from towers around the Edgar B. Carter Educational Amphitheater, just off Shug Jordan Parkway. Shows continue each Auburn home game on Fridays throughout the season.
