- What: Celebrate Independence Day with Opelika Parks and Recreation. This event will feature the Silver Wings Parachute Team, music by Route 66, food, fireworks and more!

Auburn Independence Day Celebration, July 4
- What: Enjoy the Fourth of July with the entire Auburn community! There will be live music, inflatables, face painting, giveaways and more—including Aubie! Gates open at 5 p.m., with fireworks beginning around 9 p.m.

- What: Another one of the July 2024 events in Auburn and Opelika we are excited about is this culinary class! Discover the properties of the unsung hero of ingredients and appreciate proper egg cooking. This includes poached eggs, omelets, souffles and more!

Second Saturday at Pioneer Park, July 13
- What: Step back in time as the Lee County Historical Society hosts Second Saturday at Pioneer Park. Wearing period attire, the blacksmiths, spinners and weavers, gardeners and more will bring to life what life was once like. Plus, there are activities throughout the day!

Float-in-Movie: Jaws, July 13
- What: Join the staff at Samford Pool for a float-in-movie! This month, the movie is Jaws, and admission is $2. There will be concessions. Participants are encouraged to bring floats to view from the pool, although some are available. You can also enjoy the movie from the pool deck.

- What: Save the date for sips and bites of Downtown Auburn at Cheers on the Corner!
