Hosted by Storybook Farm, the gates will open at 1 p.m. for Kentucky Derby Day 2024. But hold your horses; this isn’t your ordinary derby!
First and foremost, are you wondering what this annual event is all about? It’s for a great cause! Every dollar raised at this fundraiser goes to Storybook Farm to empower children impacted by adversity to reclaim childhood through animals and nature. Meaning more children can partake in the farm and all it offers at no cost to their family.
So how is money raised? All proceeds from ticket sales, sponsorships and silent auction items benefit the farm. Additionally, this event will provide plenty of entertainment and fun with mixing and mingling, interactive games, gourmet food, a cigar bar, specialty-crafted cocktails, a chef competition and a silent auction.
Plus, guests will gather for the program leading up to the live broadcast of the 150th Kentucky Derby from Churchill Downs and then dance into the night at the WellDunn after-party!
