Brought to you by Holly Cornelius, the bar and cocktail program manager, and Jessica Rizzo, the owner of the Il Forno and Halftime Sports Bar and Grill, Oz is a noir-style speakeasy hidden behind IL Forno.
The redesign of the space from what was once the bar area of Esposito’s played a huge role in creating the feel and atmosphere at Oz. According to reports, Cornelius said, “I really wanted to make it feel comfortable. Somewhere you would walk in and really sit down and enjoy yourself a little while.”
In addition to a new look, the music played in the speakeasy has a completely different vibe from Il Forno, creating a whole new experience as you enter the bar.

The uniqueness of Oz Speakeasy in Downtown Auburn doesn’t stop there. Cornelius also constructed a cocktail menu like no other. It starts with crafting quality cocktails from fresh ingredients.
But where can you find these quality cocktails? On Oz’s secret menu, of course, which can only be found by visiting the speakeasy. The menu is seasonal and paired with signature cocktails that will also change seasonal, while the new school section of the menu may change yearly.
Additionally, food can be ordered at Oz during the hours that overlap with Il Forno’s business hours.

So how exactly do you find Oz Speakeasy in Downtown Auburn? Simply find the secret entrance that can only be accessed through the back entrance of Il Forno at 154 N. College St., in the parking lot facing Tichenor Avenue.
Once you have entered the door, you will be greeted with a faux fireplace, and behind the wall is Oz.
