Giving Auburn fans just one more reason to say “war eagle” is everyone’s favorite mascot, Aubie the Tiger. Coming in at number one at this year’s competition, Aubie wins 11th National Title at the UCA National Championship.
Aubie wins the UCA National Mascot Championship
On and off the field, Auburn’s beloved Tiger is known for embodying the true spirit of Auburn. From making gameday appearances to attending events on and off campus, Aubie the Tiger creates Auburn magic and boosts Auburn morale.
Affirming everything fans already knew, Aubie took home the biggest prize at the UCA College Nationals. As a matter of fact, this is the 11th time that Aubie has brought home the Division 1A Mascot Championship title!
With a final score of 92.6, Aubie beat out mascots from all around the nation at the UCA College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championships.
To make the news even more exciting, this title is Aubie’s first championship since he won in 2021!
About the UCA National Mascot Championship
The UCA National Mascot Championship took place at the UCA College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championships at ESPN’s Wide World of Sports complex in Orlando, Florida.
The competition involved 16 mascots from colleges across the country and included skit performances. These were judged and scored in order to determine the best mascots in college.
With an outstanding performance, Aubie wins 11th National Title at the UCA National Championship and beats out many well-known college mascots.
Following Aubie and coming in second and third were the University of Tennessee’s Smokey and the University of Cincinnati’s Cincy the Bearcat.
