According to reports, Opelika High School’s new food truck classroom was recently gifted to the culinary arts program by generous alumni. What’s more fitting is that the new food truck was once a school bus. Now, converted into a food truck, it will soon be a full-fledged mobile classroom.
Students will not only have the chance to learn more about the food truck industry in general, but they will also be working on business plans. This includes developing menus, comparing pricing, product selection, equipment and more.
