Auburn Parks and Recreation is making it possible to join in a timeless holiday tradition this season. Letters to Santa is a joyful and magical experience for the entire family.
About Letters to Santa
Writing a letter to the big man in red is one of the most memorable and heartwarming holiday activities. And now you can start the tradition with your kids and participate in it! Auburn Parks and Recreation has brought back the magical red mailboxes for Letters to Santa.
Letters to Santa is a program that gives children the opportunity to send letters to Santa at the North Pole. And once the letters reach the winter wonderland, and Mr. Claus has the chance to read them all, Santa will reply with a letter of his own mailed to your home!
More about Letters to Santa
To mail your letter, dash over to one of the magical red mailboxes located at the Harris Center at 425 Perry St. or at the Boykin Community Center at 400 Boykin St.
This program is going on now, but please take note: if you want to be a part of the magic, have your letters in the mailboxes no later than Thursday, December 14th.
What’s more? This merry tradition is made easy for you and requires no postage! Just be sure to include your child’s name and a return address for Santa’s reply.
