When it comes to generations in the area, we are not surprised to see that the younger generation populates more of Lee County due to multiple institutions of higher education that exist here.
When breaking down these numbers, we see that 18- to 26-year-olds make up 35.13% of the population—the highest percentage in the breakdown. However, the 27-35 age bracket is where we see the most first-time home buyers.

Looking at the trending birth rate, we gather that in recent years it has dropped. The annual average stands at 1.82.
In terms of the workforce, Lee County is seeing that 62% of residents are participating, with 74% of those being men and 67% of those being women.

As far as education and housing go, we see a trend of enrollment rising as grades increase.
Breaking it down by the thousands, we see that enrollment for elementary schools is at 7.37, middle schools are at 8.84, high schools are at 9.03 and college is at 28.53. And overall, there is a 15-to-1 student-to-teacher ratio in Lee County.
