This spring, Auburn-Opelika will have more than fresh flowers popping up with the arrival of Tigertown Sports in Opelika.
About Tigertown Sports
Construction is in full swing at an up-and-coming indoor-outdoor sports and recreation venue near Tiger Town shopping center. Tigertown Sports in Opelika is hoping to dish up its own brand of recreational fun when it opens in mid-March.
The venue will have an 18-hole miniature golf course and three sand beach volleyball courts. But that’s not all. There will also be a virtual golf simulator, yard games, a full-service bar and an outdoor patio. Besides refreshing beverages, the bar will also serve pizza.
According to reports, the new sports venue will put their “own twist on classic miniature golf” that will make it fun for people of all ages.
Eventually, visitors will be able to reserve specific time slots for games and activities online. The venue will also be available for private events and parties.
