The “Loveliest Village on the Plains” rightfully earns its name once again with yet another top national ranking. Forbes recognizes that Auburn is the top university among America’s best employers for new grads in 2022.
Forbes’ America’s Top Employers List
The job market is hot and the class of 2022 is graduating into an abundance of opportunities. Forbes teamed up with Statista, a market research company, to recognize the top 300 companies in the United States most liked by new workforce entrants.
Consisting of companies from various industries, Forbes compiled a comprehensive list of America’s Best Employers for New Grads.
Auburn University Ranking
Auburn University has been recognized by Forbes as a top employer three times in the past five years. In 2017, Auburn was named one of America’s Best Midsize Employers, and in 2021, it was named one of the Best Employers in Alabama.
The 2022 list has recognized that Auburn is the top university among America’s best employers for new grads. Ranking No. 15 out of 300 employers puts the university ahead of approximately 25 other colleges, including:
- The University of Alabama
- University of Michigan
- University of Notre Dame
- Yale University
- The University of Alabama Birmingham
This No. 15 ranking places Auburn ahead of not only all other universities but also many well-known corporations. Auburn beat out companies such as:
Auburn University
Christopher B. Roberts, President of Auburn University, told The News Room that he is thrilled that Auburn University ranked 15th overall, but that he is not at all surprised.
He stated that Auburn’s commitment is to not only deliver world-class education for its students, but to also provide an exceptional working environment for its employees as well. Karla McCormick, Associate Vice President of Human Resources, said that “Auburn is a great place to work, and this ranking serves as confirmation of that,” as well as reiterating that Auburn employees value Auburn’s commitment to offering competitive pay, benefits, and other career development opportunities.
