Music for a Summer’s Eve, June 2-30
- What: Technically this is one of a few June 2022 events in Auburn and Opelika that will be ongoing throughout the summer. Expect a free concert from St. Dunstan’s porch every Thursday starting June 2nd! A variety of local musicians and styles can be heard all the way through July.

- What: It’s City Market season! Join Auburn Parks and Rec each Saturday in June for local goods, products, produce and more.

Sundilla Presents Friction Farms, June 3
- What: It’s more music to our ears with an outdoor concert featuring husband-and-wife modern- folk duo Aidan Quinn and Christine Stay. Playing on everyday life, quirky observations, hope and humor, it’s musical entertainment at it’s finest. Tickets are $20 at the door and $15 in advance.

Touch–A–Truck, June 4
- What: Opelika Main Street’s free Touch-A-Truck event revs up right before Burger Wars, in fact. Let your little ones explore a variety of vehicles and trucks before re-fueling on juicy burgers.

Burger Wars, June 4
- What: Burger Wars are back! This popular event hosted by the Opelika Rotary Club since 2015 gives grillers the chance to share their best burgers. Get your tickets early that day for a chance to taste all the burger entries. Proceeds benefit the Food Bank of East Alabama Backpack program.

Art Market at the Art Haus, June 4
- What: It’s an art market with food trucks, flowers, and lots of fun for everyone. This is an indoor-outdoor, rain-or-shine event!

Summer Swing Concert Series, June 7-28
- What: The free live music concerts hosted by Opelika Parks and Rec continue each Tuesday in June! Liven up the night to the tunes of Crossroads, Kidd Blue, Route 66 and Muse.

SummerNight Downtown Art Walk, June 10
- What: It’s time to go coco-nutty for the SummerNightDowntown Art Walk! A tropical island theme transforms downtown with local and regional artists, live musicians, street performers, food, children’s activities and more. Plus, downtown merchants stay open later so you can stay, dine and shop longer!

Science on Saturdays, June 18
- What: Auburn University’s Southeastern Raptor Center visits the preserve to talk about raptors as well as show off these incredible birds, up-close and in-person. Admission is $5. Children under 3 are free.
