Earlier this month, the upcoming HomeGoods was made official after earning City Council approval. In addition, the City Council approved Flint’s Crossing to be rebranded as “The Plains.” The project means a large investment in our town, to the tune of about $3.9 million.

What can I buy at the new HomeGoods?

The new HomeGoods coming to Auburn will feature a variety of furniture and décor items to spruce up your home. They sell both indoor and outdoor items, so you can give your house a new look inside and out.

Some of the types of items they sell include:

  • Furniture, like benches and lamps;
  • Kitchen items, like utensils and table cloths;
  • Pillows and sheets;
  • Pet items, like beds and bowls;
  • Décor items, like frames and statues;

Once it’s open, you can find the new HomeGoods at Flint’s Crossing Shopping Center, right across from the Auburn Mall. The HomeGoods will take the place of the former Earth Fare grocery store.

The store is in the very early stages of development, so stay tuned for updates. While they have yet to announce an opening date, it’s evident that big changes are coming!
