Properties sold staying stable
The number of properties sold has remained relatively stable from November 2020 to November 2021. This past year, 173 properties sold in Lee County as a whole, compared to last November’s 166.
Fewer days on the market
In November 2021, Lee County homes spent less than half the amount of time on the market than they did in November 2020, dropping from 65 to 31 days.
Auburn homes also sold quicker on average, going from 75 to 32 days. Opelika also benefited from the trend, with home sales taking just 29 days this November, compared to 67 days last year.
Increasing average sales prices
The average sales price in Lee County last month was $350,289, up from $314,322 last year. Auburn homes rose from $345,229 to $402,418, just as Opelika homes rose from $271,831 to $303,057. This means that right now may just be the perfect time for you to sell!
Rising median sales prices
The average sales prices have grown—and so have the median sales prices. Lee County homes sold for a median number of $324,065, marking an upwards trend from November 2020’s figure of $296,563.
Meanwhile, Auburn homes shot up from $332,000 to $362,836. Opelika homes rose in value as well, from $263,000 to $279,000.
Growing overall property sales sold dollar volume

Last month, the total property sales sold dollar volume for Lee County hit $60,599,992. It also marks growth from November 2020’s figure of $52,177,379.
