Johnny Ray Century Ride for Parkinson’s Disease, Oct. 2
- What: The Opelika Bicycle Advisory Committee has an important ride on the docket. Cycle for a great cause at the Johnny Ray Century Ride for Parkinson’s Disease, brought to you in part by the East Alabama Cycling Club. The funds raised will go towards the Davis Phinney Foundation. Additionally, riders can get a meal at the end of their cycling to fuel back up.

Ziggy Marley: A Live Tribute to His Father, Oct. 6

Chalk Paint®️ by Annie Sloan Workshop, Oct. 6, 14, and 29
- What: Up your artistic game at this cool workshop! You’ll come out of it knowing five new Chalk Paint techniques. Materials and the class itself cost $95 per person. Or, come as a pair for $150!

Pine Hill Cemetery Lantern Tour, Oct. 14 and 15
- What: A creepily cool option on our list of October 2021 events in Auburn and Opelika: this historic tour. Ghostly characters will guide you as you explore, telling you bits of local lore. Tickets cost $10 at the gate, but students can get them for $5.

Opelika Songwriters Festival, Oct. 15 to 17
- What: Traverse Historic Downtown Opelika in search of new—and showstopping—songwriters at the three-day Opelika Songwriters Festival. Two performances will go on at the same time in different spots, so you have options! Get your passes ASAP.

Halloween Enchanted Forest, Oct. 22 and 23
- What: Cool costumed characters await at Halloween Enchanted Forest. Celebrate Halloween at this kid-friendly event, complete with hot chocolate for those who make a food bank donation. You can get your tickets for $7, with kids aged 2 and younger welcome to attend for free.
