In the South, we take our BBQ seriously! From pulled pork, to ribs, to wings, we love piling our plates with tasty eats. Well, we have some good news—both for fans of food and for those who love Butcher Paper BBQ! Next month, a new BBQ restaurant will open in town along North College Street in the former Mike & Ed’s location in Downtown Auburn. Even better, the same folks behind Butcher Paper BBQ will operate it. Let us introduce you to what may become your favorite new spot to chow down: Rob’s Ribs Auburn.
More on Rob’s Ribs in Auburn
Butcher Paper BBQ first brought the flavor to Opelika, with the help of a single smoker and creator Mark Coxwell. Now, its operators are making Auburn a more delicious place to live in 2021! If you’ve ever tried their junkyard dogs, BBQ mac, or biscuits and gravy, you know good food awaits.
Though Rob’s Ribs Auburn hasn’t posted a menu yet, we think it’s safe to guess they’ll serve up ribs and other BBQ fare. Consider supporting a new local business with a visit this year!
Thinking Ahead
Already dreaming of the BBQ you’ll order? You can think ahead for the future and help give Rob’s Ribs a successful launch, all at the same time. After all, supporting a new local business is a big deal!
Next time you drive past the future Rob’s Ribs location around lunch time, look out for the Butcher Paper BBQ food truck. They’ll be selling gift certificates for the new restaurant! Then, when it unveils in April, you’ve already paid for your meal.
You can buy your gift certificates in increments of $25. Did we mention you’ll get a little free gift too? They’ve been giving away “Support Alabama BBQ” stickers with each purchase!

Soon, you can visit Rob’s Ribs Auburn. Its owners plan to open it next month. So, next time you have a hankering for some BBQ, drive on over to 307 North College Street in Auburn, AL.
