More on the New Fire Station in North Auburn
Workers have officially broken ground on the new fire station in North Auburn. Starting earlier this month on January 11, they started construction on the first new station in town since 2003. Its creation will mark the sixth fire station in Auburn city limits!
What will the station add to town?
Auburn will absolutely feel the benefits from the new station—including more dispatchers available to protect us all. The fire station will also bring in 15 jobs! Six of the firefighters will live in the station at a time. These brave folks will also have use of two brand new firetrucks. Finally, the building will also offer a spot to store relevant equipment.
Why build a new fire station in north Auburn?
North Auburn was chosen as the new location for a local fire station for a reason! As it turns out, that section of town is hustling, bustling, and poised to progress even more over the years. So, it makes sense that residents will need a station closer to their homes and businesses. Their peace of mind will come part and parcel with genuine protection!
When will the new station be complete?
According to projected completion times, we’ll be ringing in more than 2022 next January. We’ll also be celebrating the newly-built North Auburn fire station!
