For Money, Auburn earned its ranking based on value. Auburn’s affordable tuition costs, coupled with its manageable student debt, helped cement its place as the best college in Alabama. Nationally, Auburn’s student debt burden is $3,500 less than the average of states across the board. Auburn’s costs also hover around $12,300 less than the nation’s top universities. From the study’s conclusions, Auburn grads saw a median earning of $52,800 per year three years after graduating.
Auburn also tops other undergraduate colleges in the state based on its 77% graduation rate, along with other factors. Money analyzed metrics such as career earnings, family borrowing, and education fees to reach Auburn’s placement.
Forbes rated Auburn 47 on its scale. The media company went on to note that Auburn alumni with 10 or more years of experience earned a median salary of $104,500. Additionally, Auburn earned an “A” grade from Niche.
Along with being the best college in Alabama, Auburn boasts an extremely satisfied student body. Auburn received its admirable score through positive reviews from students and alumni, solid marks on criteria such as academics and student life, and financial data from the U.S. Department of Education.
