About the Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center
Ever since 1999, the Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center has given locals a place to go to express their creative sides. There, residents can hone their expertise and attend workshops or learn art lessons. They can also check out exhibits or attend live performances! Now, thanks to the upgrades to Jan Dempsey Community Center, residents can get even more out of this local treasure.
What kind of upgrades are on the horizon?
Upgrades are coming soon! Though the plans were only recently announced, they sound like they will add a whole lot of value to the Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center! These upgrades include:
- A ceramics studio;
- Renovations to the building itself, which will make it more accessible and ADA compliant;
- Widened performance areas.
When will the project be completed?
There is no specific completion date available yet! Currently, this project is in the design phase. That means we may have to wait a bit until the $2.8 million upgrades are complete—though it sounds like they’ll be well worth it!
