This year, the Opelika’s on the Tracks 2018 Food and Wine Event marks the 25th incarnation of the tradition. It will take place tomorrow on Friday, Oct. 19. The festivities begin at 6 p.m. and end at 10 p.m. For those who want to add this awesome event to their calendar, don’t forget to mark the location: downtown Opelika at South Railroad Ave.
Price
Right now, you can purchase tickets in advance for $25. If you want to buy a ticket the night Opelika’s On the Tracks 2018 Food and Wine Event occurs, the price will increase to $30. As for those who want the ultimate luxury, you can buy a VIP ticket for just $40.
Food, music, and features
After a glass or two of wine, you’ll be craving some food to go with it. At this event, you’ll have an array of dishes to sample. Not only will there be cheese from Kroger and Cheese Please, but you can also purchase small plates for Auburn-and-Opelika-based vendors.

Auburn-Opelika Wine Trail 2018
Want to enjoy your day to the fullest? Start the fun early at the Auburn-Opelika Wine Trail 2018 on Oct. 19. Tickets cost $55 per person. Starting at 8 a.m. at the Lee County fairgrounds, enjoy a tour of three amazing wineries, complete with handy bus transportation. Lunch will also be provided! This great event ends at 4 p.m., giving you plenty of time to get ready for Opelika’s on the Tracks 2018 Food and Wine Event, too. Just remember, this is an activity only for those 21 and older.
