Auburn CityFest

Join the Loveliest Village’s largest outdoor festival: Auburn CityFest this Saturday, April 28 at Kiesel Park, rain or sunshine!

The theme for this year’s annual festival is “Native Alabama,” including performances from The Medicine Tail Singers—traveling singers and dancers from various tribal backgrounds like Choctaw, Houma, Alabama, Coushatta, and Creek.

In addition to the Medicine Tail Singers, other family-friendly entertainment at Auburn CityFest includes:

  • Georgia Irish Frisbee Dogs: Watch a team of talented dogs with eight world championships, seven world records, and 10 national championships perform under the guidance of dog lovers Mark and Stacey Muir!
  • Lew-E the Clown: Enjoy some clowning around alongside active education with Lee Andrew’s character, Lew-E!
  • Adam Lowe: As you browse the Auburn CityFest, keep an eye out for Adam Lowe, the stilt walker, comedic juggler, and managing director of Thimblerig Circus!
  • Jubilee Farmers: Take your kids out for free pony rides!
  • The Boy Scouts of America: The Saugahatchee District is proud to present educational activities at Auburn CityFest with the Boy Scouts!
  • Korea Fest: Sponsored by the Auburn University Office of International Programs, Korea Fest offers a variety of activities to immerse guests in Korean culture, such as calligraphy and traditional dances.

While you participate in festival activities, enjoy music at the Entertainment Pavilion by the Tony Brook Band, a captivating blues group, and Dogwood Lung, a local pop folk band beloved by the Auburn community.

Furthermore, attendees at the Auburn CityFest can also enjoy a vendor area, complete with artisan and non-profit organizations!

Kiesel Park has always been dog friendly, so feel free to bring your pup—just keep him or her leashed! Additionally, you’re welcome to set up a picnic outside the Entertainment Pavilion with blankets and chairs. Don’t worry about getting hungry—there will be plenty of food vendors! Concerned about parking? Don’t worry about that, either; it’s free and abundant!
