Women’s Club Art Walk/Sale, Nov. 4

  • What: The Women’s Club Art Walk will display works from 23 artists throughout the day that will be available for purchase. The Women’s Club of Auburn is located in an antebellum cottage that was formerly located on the site of the Ralph B. Draughon Library at Auburn University. It was placed on the Alabama Register of Landmarks and Heritage in 1991.
  • Where: 712 Sanders Street, Auburn
  • When: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

1 Dayfest at Red Clay Brewing Company, Nov. 10

  • What: Sponsored by the Central Alabama Mountain Pedalers and the Orrianne Society, 1 Dayfest will feature three bands: Alex Wilkerson, Dogwood Lung and Brook and the Bluff. The event will also include food vendors like Butcher Paper BBQ, Mama Mochas Coffee and Sweet Onion café. This event will benefit the group 1 Percent for the Planet.
  • Where: Red Clay Brewing Company, 704 N. Railroad Ave., Opelika
  • When: 4 p.m.; music starts at 7 p.m.
  • Cost: No cover charge

Alabama Avenue at Come Home to the Corner, Nov. 10

  • What: Rock band Alabama Avenue will provide tunes at the Come Home to the Corner celebration Friday, Nov. 10 before the 2017 Auburn vs. Georgia game. Downtown will be designated an entertainment district from 4 to 10 p.m.
  • Where: Downtown Auburn
  • When: 6 to 9 p.m.

25 JUMPS Trail Grand Opening at Chewacla State Park, Nov. 12

  • What: The Central Alabama Mountain Pedalers (CAMP) invite you to check out the grand opening of the new mountain biking trail, The Forbidden Zone, which features dirt and wood jumps, step downs, hips, transitions and other features. The trail also has the largest GAP jump in the Southeast at 33 feet.
  • Where: Chewacla State Park, 124 Shell Toomer Parkway, Auburn
  • When: 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Family Studio: Faux-Batik Painting, Thinking about Diversity and Community, Nov. 12

  • What: This parent and children art workshop is designed for grades kindergarten through sixth, but all ages are welcome. The event will focus on diversity in the Auburn community and the world, and participants will create both individual art pieces and a collaborative project in response to the discussion.
  • Where: Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art, 901 S. College St., Auburn
  • When: 1:30 to 3 p.m.
  • Cost: $5 suggested donation

East Alabama Arts: Dirty Dancing, The Musical, Nov. 13

  • What: The worldwide smash hit takes the stage in Opelika to tell the story of Baby and Johnny and their renowned summer of dancing. The musical will feature 35 hit songs, including favorites like “Hungry Eyes,” and “(I’ve Had) The Time of my Life.”
  • Where: Opelika Center for the Performing Arts, 1700 Lafayette Parkway
  • When: 7:30 p.m.
  • Cost: $18-$49

Fall Tour at the Arboretum, Nov. 16

  • What: Discover all of the fall beauty on display at the Donald E. Davis Arboretum with a free tour through the arboretum’s trees, flowers and foliage.
  • Where: Donald E. Davis Arboretum, 181 Garden Drive, Auburn
  • When: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Cost: Free

Punkin Fest at The locAL market, Nov. 21

  • What: Gather for all things pumpkin at the locAL market this November during Punkin Fest. Children are encourage to paint pumpkins while parents shop Thanksgiving tablescapes and more. From pumpkin cookies to coffee, a variety of pumpkin-themed refreshments will be available.
  • Where: The locAL market, 127. S. College St., Auburn
  • When: 3 to 7 p.m.

Moores Mill Club Turkey Trot, Nov. 23

  • What: Participate are encouraged to “Get Huffin’ for Stuffin’” in either a one-mile or three-mile walk/run this Thanksgiving Day to benefit the Food Bank of East Alabama. The trot will take walkers and runners through the back nine holes of Moores Mill Club’s scenic golf course.
  • Where: Moores Mill Club Pavilion, 1957 Fairway Drive, Auburn
  • When: 8 a.m.
  • Cost: $15 plus $3 registration fee

Monthly Market, Nov. 28

  • What: Auburn Parks and Recreation partners with local growers to host its Monthly Market, featuring local produce, jams, jellies and a variety of other vendors.
  • Where: Harris Center, 425 Perry St., Auburn
  • When: 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
  • Cost: Free
