  • Chewacla State Park
    • Location: 123 Shell Toomer Parkway, Auburn, Ala.
    • About: A 696-acre park featuring RV camping, tent camping and cabins.
    • Amenities: A 26-acre lake, swimming area, playground, picnic areas, tables, grills and shelters. Also includes hiking and mountain-biking trails.

  • Auburn RV Park at Leisure Time Campground
    • Location: 2670 South College Street, Auburn, Ala.

    • About: The highest point in Alabama at 2,407 feet above sea level offering breathtaking views and recreational activities.

Also includes fishing, picnic areas, waterfall trails, mountain bike trail, hiking trails, playground, swimming, rappelling and rock climbing, a museum and more.
