- Chewacla State Park
- Location: 123 Shell Toomer Parkway, Auburn, Ala.
- About: A 696-acre park featuring RV camping, tent camping and cabins.
- Amenities: A 26-acre lake, swimming area, playground, picnic areas, tables, grills and shelters. Also includes hiking and mountain-biking trails.

- Location: 2670 South College Street, Auburn, Ala.

- Location: 3076 Highway 14, Auburn, Ala.

- Amenities: Includes 109 campsites, 22 cottages, 16 backcountry campsites, fishing lake and privately-operated stables.

- Cheaha State Park
- Location: 19644 Highway 281, Delta, Ala.
- About: The highest point in Alabama at 2,407 feet above sea level offering breathtaking views and recreational activities.
- Amenities: A range of camping options including group primitive campground, improved campground, semi-primitive campground and cabins. Also includes fishing, picnic areas, waterfall trails, mountain bike trail, hiking trails, playground, swimming, rappelling and rock climbing, a museum and more.

- Tuskegee National Forest
- Location: 125 National Forest Road, Tuskegee, Ala.
- About: Encompasses 11,000 acres in southeast Alabama midway between Auburn University and Tuskegee University.

- Pine Mountain RV Resort
- Location: 8804 Hamilton Road, Pine Mountain, Ga.
- About: An RVC outdoor destination that offers camping in comfort three-miles from the world-famous Callaway Gardens.
- Amenities: Full-hookup RV sites with 50/30 amp electric, Wi-Fi, picnic table and fire ring at each site. Other accommodations include resort cabins, large cabins, small cabins and yurts. Park features a concierge service, swimming pool, convenience store, activities pavilion and playgrounds.
