18th Annual Auburn Bike Bash, April 1
- What: Sponsored by the City of Auburn, Auburn Bicycle Committee and Auburn City Schools, the Auburn Bike Bash encourages biking and bicycle safety among cyclists of all ages and abilities. The event will feature activities such as bicycle rides of varying distances, bicycle inspections, helmet fittings, exhibits, children’s activities, live music, door prizes and a cookout.
- Where: Ogletree Elementary School, 737 Ogletree Road, Auburn
- When: 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Cost: $5 ages 12 and under; $10 ages 13 and older
Eggs on the Plains, April 1
- What: A sampling of food cooked on the Big Green Egg in conjunction with various live music performances throughout the day including the LSA Jazz Band (noon), Hot Club of Auburn (1p.m.), and Kid Blue (3 to 5 p.m.).
- Where: Watsons’ Backyard Living, 1799 Ogletree Road Suite 300, Auburn
- When: 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Cost: $15 per adult, $25 for two adults
BioBlitz, April 1
- What: A hands-on, citizen science event designed to promote local interest in biodiversity. Scientists from Auburn University will be on hand to showcase and discuss insects, fish, fungi, plants, mammals, birds and more. This event will also host guest speaker Renee Simmons Raney, author of Hairy Scary but Mostly Merry Fairies!
- Where: Kreher Preserve and Nature Center, 2222 N. College St., Auburn
- When: 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. (come and go as you please)
- Cost: $5 for ages 10 and older
Shine On, April 2
- What: Alpha Xi Delta will host a picnic on Cater Lawn with live music, food and speakers open to anyone in the community. This event serves to highlight Autism Awareness Month.
- Where: Cater Hall Lawn, Auburn University
- When: 4 to 6 p.m.
- Cost: Free
Tiger Trail of Auburn Induction Reception, April 7
- What: The 20th class of Tiger Trail inductees including Alvin Bresler, James Brooks, Ray Groover, Gabe Gross, Angie Hannah and Bobby Hunt will be presented with an engraved granite plaque to be placed in the sidewalk of downtown Auburn among other past inductees. The public is invited to attend.
- Where: Auburn Arena, 250 Beard-Eaves Court, Auburn
- When: 5 p.m. (hors d’oeuvres and cash bar); 6 p.m. (program)
- Cost: $25
Wing Fling, April 7
- What: An educational presentation featuring owls, hawks, falcon, vultures and eagles. Raptors will also be available for photo opportunities after the presentation.
- Where: Southeastern Raptor Center, 1350 Pratt-Carden Drive, Auburn
- When: 5 to 6 p.m.
- Cost: $5; free for ages 3 and younger
Auburn Football A-Day Game, April 8
- What: The annual spring scrimmage game that gives Auburn fans a chance to preview the Tigers before the fall football season.
- Where: Jordan-Hare Stadium, 251 S. Donahue Drive, Auburn
- When: 1 p.m.
- Cost: $5 for general public; free for Auburn University students with an Auburn Ignited card
7th Annual Dancing Stars of East Alabama, April 13
- What: Local “celebrities” and their professional dance partners will perform to raise money for local non-profit organizations. The event will feature both dance and fundraising competitions.
- Where: The Bottling Plant Event Center, 614 N. Railroad Ave, Opelika
- When: 6 to 10 p.m.
- Cost: $150
36th Annual Easter Egg Hunt, April 15
- What: More than 35,000 eggs will be hidden over a four-acre area of Kiesel Park with hunting grounds divided by the following age groups: 3 and younger, 4 to 6, 7 to 9 and 10 to 12. Enjoy live music, free sodas and balloons and an opportunity to meet the Easter Bubby himself.

- When: 10:30 a.m. (3 and under); 10:45 a.m. (4 to 6); 11 a.m. (7 to 9); 11:15 a.m. (10 to 12)

On The Tracks Spring 2017, April 21
- What: Participants will follow a wine and food tasting trail through the shops and restaurants of Historic Downtown Opelika. Each of the 25 stops on the trail will include an appetizing food sample prepared by the host store and a complementary beverage.

- When: 6 to 11 p.m.

Music & Miracles Superfest, April 22
- What: This benefit concert for the Chicken Salad Chick Foundation will feature performances by Blake Shelton, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Thomas Rhett and Kelsea Ballerini.

Waverly “Old 280” (Earth Day) Boogie, April 22
- What: A multi-cultural music and arts festival featuring musical performances by Drivin’ N Cryin’, Southern Culture on the Skids, Adam Hood, Revel in Dimes, Pine Hill Haints and Blackberry Possum.
- Where: Standard Deluxe, 1015 Mayberry, Waverly
- When: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Old-Time Music Festival, April 27-30
- What: All ages are welcome to learn and witness instruments like the mountain dulcimer, hammered dulcimer, bass penny whistle, autoharp, banjo, fiddle, mandolin, ukulele, sacred harp singing, Native American flute, clogging, spirituals and more.

- What: An annual bike ride hosted by two-sport legend and Alabama native Bo Jackson to raise money for the Governor’s Emergency Relief Fund.

Auburn CityFest, April 29
- What: Auburn’s largest free outdoor festival featuring live music, arts and crafts, fine arts vendors, children’s activities, food and more.
